Simply Earth Essential Oils "Peppermint"

Ok so I know I have just been mostly reviewing stuff lately but I can't help it. There are so many great products out there and ones that come from small family companies don't always have as much buzz as products that are mass produced. So today I am going to tell you a little bit about a small, eco-friendly, purpose-driven, family company called Simply Earth. They donate 13% of the profit from EVERY product purchased to organizations that are rehabilitating trafficking victims. Now I learned something new here because I certainly didn't know the average age of these young woman is 13 years old. Being that it is Christmas time people tend to be a little more giving than the rest of the year and this is a great way to give someone an amazing gift and also give to those in need.

This Peppermint Essential Oil is 100% pure and non-toxic which is great if you have kids or pets in your house. I love that it not diluted or filtered as I can dilute it myself. This is a great USA made product and comes in a very nice amber glass bottle. It is a great scent and there are so many uses for this oil. I love companies that make quality products and better yet stand behind them 100%. The Peppermint Oil smells amazing and I love am loving how it makes my house smell. Being Christmas time and getting colder I love the Peppermint smell. Even my kids were telling me how good it smells in here. I do have to admit this is a Strong product since it isn't diluted so you only need a couple drops. I've tried various different Essential Oils and I feel that there is a difference in the strength of them so since it is a 15mL bottle it should last a good while. The shipping was fast and it had bubble wrap around it for protection which was nice. Also each cap has a Euro Dropper included for convenience. I actually got a few of their scents that I will be reviewing in different posts so you can look forward to that. Overall I believe this is a great product and I would recommend this if you are in the mood for Essential Oils. Egg & Pancake Maker

I love making eggs and pancakes and when I saw these I was so excited to have found an easy way to make them. I love how you can put a piece of bacon around the inside of the circle and cook the egg in it. It makes for a great sandwich (especially if you are using English Muffins) and they're quick and simple to do. I love making a couple pancakes and then sticking an egg in the middle with some bacon and syrup and have them all be the same size. I was slightly worried about putting rubber on a hot pan but you don't have to worry about them melting or scratching your pan and they are non stick for easy cleaning (I love easy cleaning). The handles fold down for easy storage and they are durable and can be used over and over again. I haven't tried them for burgers yet but if it works as well as it does with eggs and pancakes they you're not getting any complaints from me! These work better if you dip the ring on some butter or oil so it seals to the pan and the egg doesn't seep out from under the ring. Since these come in a 4 pack I am able to use a square flat pan and make 4 sandwiches at the same time for my whole family. I have to admit I wasn't a pro when I started using these so give them a try at least a few times because hey the only way to get better at something is practice right! I am very happy with my purchase of these and can't wait to find more uses for them. Also, I would recommend keeping the circular foam pieces that come inside the circles for storage so they keep their shape. Amazing Multi-Use Kitchen Tool!

I am so happy to have found such an amazing product with so many uses! This tool is great for chopping, scraping, slicing, dicing, dividing and best of all measuring with it's built in ruler. Personally I hate having a ton of different tools and gadgets taking up valuable kitchen space. This Stainless Steel Scraper & Chopper is great for chopping veggies and then you can easily scoop them up with the same tool and put them in something. The handle is comfortable and sturdy and the ruler on the bottom is great for cutting stuff into sections or measuring. I love using this for dough and I even used it to spread icing on a cake. Having such a versatile tool will save you time and extra dishes so you can enjoy cooking and creating instead of spending half your time washing dishes. It comes in a nice box and wrapped in plastic. I took it out of the box and the first thing I wanted to do was go use it to cook something. I've even gotten a little selfish with it and don't want anyone else to use it. The good news is my family is happy I cook more now. For those of you who have a dishwasher it's safe to stick it in there. I hand washed it since I'm the dishwasher in my house and it was so easy. I think I will buy one for my sister for Christmas! Someone mentioned it could be great for crafts so I will have to try it. You will not be disappointed with this great tool. The handles are nice and long and also non slip. It's portable, lightweight and easy to take with you while traveling. Awakenings by J.E. Shannon Review

When I saw the cover of the this book I was intrigued. After reading the synopsis of this book I knew I just had to read it. Evie is a 17 year old girl who was on vacation with her parents and gets kidnapped from her hotel only to wake up in a shallow grave with hardly any memory of what happened in between. Realizing she didn't need to breath and has no heartbeat or pulse she crawls out of the grave and the one thing on her mind is to find her sister Lyssa. Along the way she meets Ethan, his mother and Ethan's work partner Bo who and learns more about the kidnapping and the human traffickers that have been doing it for a long time. The story keeps you right in the thick of Evie's afterlife i guess you could call it with all the adventures and the all consuming rage within her to kill the people who took her and her sister. Having read a book about Vengador's on vacation in New Orleans she immediately realizes the source of her rage. She also realizes that when her lust for revenge is satisfied she will no longer exist. Evie and Ethan grow close during the story and you start feeling sad that she will be gone after her revenge. There are many surprises, twists and turns throughout the story that keep you wanting more... After finishing this story I find myself wanting more, more about the other characters and more books by the author. I am a huge fan of YA/paranormal books and this is definitely a good one!
