So I read this great article about TV watching and all the new ways we would rather watch things. With all the different screen options we don't always choose to watch stuff on TV and instead of talking about it the next day we live tweet and Facebook about the show while we are watching it. I don't even have television service because I can watch everything I want on my computer the day after it airs. I literally watch every show the CW has and watch them all online. Everything I watch on one site or another but when I was a kid/teen I watched TV all the time in prime time and had to be in front of the TV at a specific time. I love the freedom of watching what I want where I want it and who knows maybe we won't even have televisions in the future because people would rather use other services like Netflix and Amazon Instant Video and there are always free sites where you can watch shows too. If your kids are anything like mine they hate having their hair brushed because of knots and tangles. This Detangling Brush helps with that because it's made to separate the hair sideways instead of down so its not pulling the hair out and hurting your head. Crowdsourcing Your Innovation Article

I read this great article about crowdsourcing today and found it pretty interesting. NASA actually invited people from freelancer.com to help them solve some of their more complex problems. Inviting people to help and share their ideas makes them feel good and also like they are helping the greater good. Apparently there were over 3,300 entries wanting to work with NASA. I think it's a great idea because sometimes after you've spent so much time working on a problem you can't come up with something new. Letting other people take a look at a problem with "fresh eyes" can help tremendously. Take an old case file at the police station and give it to someone who hasn't been over it yet and get there take on it because you never know what they may come up with. I think it's nice when people can admit they don't know everything and asking others for help is better for everyone. People care more about something if they have input and if you can't figure out the problem there's no harm in letting someone else take a chance. I agree with compensation but honestly I totally agree that people would love the bragging rights of saying "Hey I got to help NASA with a project". So I was reading this article called "Connected Objects Will Become Your New Problem" and it made me stop and think about how many devices in my house alone are connected to the internet and all the devices that could be connected to the internet. Between the televisions, game systems, cell phones, laptops, tablets, my kids both have things that connect to the internet too.
