My Fixed Kitchen Faucet!

My Kitchen Sink is FIXED! I am so happy I want to shout from the rooftops. My landlord didn't get my voicemail until today but he called me and then he sent a plumber out within the hour and the guy was AMAZING! He fixed the sink in like 5 minutes while I watched (man there are a lot of pieces to a faucet) and it didn't require a new faucet!

And since I had previously tried to fix the bathroom sink and only ended up making it worse (eek!) I had him take a look at it while he was here and HE FIXED IT! It took a little longer than 5 minutes but it's fixed and I am SOOOO HAPPY! So now that I haven't been able to wash dishes in 5 days I am actually excited to do use my newly fixed kitchen sink! ‪#‎overthemoon‬ ‪#‎jumpingforjoy

Things are looking up and Christmas is only a week away so my kids are super excited! I can't believe it's almost the end of 2015. I am going to try and do daily posts on here and do more than just reviews. Even if only a few people read it I just like writing about random stuff and I've been considering doing a giveaway too. I love entering them but I wonder what it would be like to host one. Topaz Unisex Casual Watch

With Christmas only a week away many people are buying last minute gifts for friends, family, co-workers, etc. This Topaz Unisex Any Time Casual Silver-Tone Watch with Red, White and Blue Nylon Band is a great idea. I really like this watch how easy it is to read. My son is just learning to tell time and it's large and clear for him to read. The watch came ready to wear right out of the package. The red, white and blue was a nice touch and kind of patriotic. It's a quality watch for a great price. I'm not used to such a large face and it's kind of heavy at first. The band itself is nylon but I am sensitive to what I wear so it was a little rough at first which I assume will conform to you and become more comfortable over time. I like that it is water resistant so you don't have to worry about it getting ruined if you get caught in the rain. The 28 inch band is nice and long even with my larger wrists it still fits me. It also has a nice buckle to secure it on your wrist and also shows military time which is a nice addition. Overall it's a nice watch, very affordable and great for anyone. Simply Earth Essential Oils "Cassia"

It's me again with more about Simply Earth! I know you love their Essential Oils as much as I do so I am going to tell you how great this one is and how much I love it. My Broken Kitchen Faucet

I know I haven't written much other than reviews for products but I thought I would add a little something else today. So a few days ago my kitchen faucet started spraying water everywhere. So we stopped using it and everything was fine for a couple days while I tired to find the correct replacement faucet. I love trying to fix things but somehow I always end up making things worse. I'm not sure whether it's the blonde hair or just bad luck HaHa. Anyway today the sink was leaking everywhere and the kitchen floor was soaked. Here's the real kicker the kitchen floor is covered with indoor/outdoor carpet and so if the area outside the downstairs bathroom where the washer and dryer are and the bathroom itself. Now come on who puts carpet in the two messiest rooms of the house? Well apparently my landlord does because it's there! So my bathroom floor and kitchen floor were soaked as well as underneath the sink. I couldn't turn off the water under the sink because the knobs were too hard to move and the only other option was the main water shut off which shuts off water to the whole house. Well after some time, tools and guidance I was able to turn off the water to the kitchen sink and have water to the rest of the house but I still can't fix the faucet because I can't loosen the bolts to take the broken one off thanks to my lack of strength apparently.

So here I am telling myself that it's almost Christmas and it should be happy and joyful and yet I am dealing with a broken kitchen faucet. Of course now that it will probably cost about or over $100 to fix I called the landlord and hopefully he will get my message because I of course had to leave a voicemail and have someone come and fix it. This has been going on for 4 days and I have dirty dishes stacked up that need washed and laundry that needs done well more than usual anyways. Since I have never had to fix things myself before this has been one heck of a crazy mess and with Christmas a few days away I was mostly just trying to make sure I had everything ready for Christmas for my kids and wasn't as prepared for the disaster this turned into. I think perhaps it's time to take some classes on home maintenance so that I know more about fixing things when they are minor. This whole experience was stressful for me perhaps more so that it should have been so I think it's time to really seriously consider meditation, yoga or a really good massage! They say that things happen in 3's so I am going to continue trying to have a positive attitude and make some New Year's Resolutions to do better. Run Baby Beanie!

So I recently got to try and review a Rub Baby Beanie/Cap and I love it! It's soft and stretchy and fits my head nicely even with my really long hair. It's made from high quality materials and is great for wet or windy days or anytime your outdoors. It can easily fit in your pocket when you're not wearing it and it's great for men or women. It comes in Black, Neon Green and Pink. I chose the black one which I really like and it's also reflective which is nice. I love that it comes down and covers my ears and is comfy to wear. Christmas Mug!

I love Christmas time with all the decorations and Christmas cheer. I love this mug it's a cute 12oz. mug great for coffee, tea or hot cocoa. It's microwave and dishwasher safe and would make a great gift. My kids were fighting over who was going to get it until I said it was mine. I guess I might have to get Christmas mugs for them too. The Santa is bright and happy and the mug is colorful and cheerful. It can brighten up your office or your kitchen. It comes in it's own box and would be super easy to wrap and give as a gift. There is a Santa picture on each side so whether you grab the mug with your left or right hand you get to see the design and so do other people.
