The Hunters: Monster Hunting 101 by Richard Bamberg

My goal on Goodreads for 2015 was to read 200 books. With 12 days left of this year I have just finished my 198th book, The Hunters: Monster Hunting 101. Now I love Supernatural, Anita Blake and other Hunter type books & shows so I was excited when I saw this book. This was such a well written and awesome story. There is a lot of action in the book and it keeps you into the story the whole time. It's exciting and you want to know what comes next so I couldn't put it down and read the whole thing straight through. There is so much action and suspense and also a romance aspect but it's the perfect amount. The characters are well written and you feel like you are right there with them. This was a great paranormal action filled book that you won't be able to put down. I do have to say I received this product for free or discounted in exchange for an honest review. Having said that, 95% of the books I read I get for free from Amazon or I win them because I love reading and could never afford to buy every book I read. I am just so glad I got the chance to read this book and it's something I would read again. I really didn't want any spoiler alerts but I will share the synopsis...

"When Jesse's old girlfriend calls him requesting an immediate meeting late at night, he thinks of a lot of reasons she might have called. None of them are anywhere near the truth. Instead of a late night booty call, Gail brings him into a world he didn't know existed, ghouls, werewolves, and ghosts and they all seem to be after Jesse's blood. Gail wants Jesse to put a silver bullet in her heart to keep her from becoming the monster she hunts, but there's no way Jesse is going to kill the girl he once loved. He convinces her to let him restrain her for the full moon. Luckily, a local Adult Intimacies store has all the bondage gear he needs.

Now he just has to fight off a pack of werewolves single-handedly while keeping her from ripping his own throat out.

Sex, guns, and werewolves, what could go wrong?"
