If you have knee pain and are looking for relief this could help. This is great for people who play basketball, volleyball, soccer, do weightlifting or anything where you are jumping up. It's breathable and durable with a silicon pad inside so it helps absorb the shock of coming down on your knee. If you are a plus sized person then you generally have more weight coming down on your knees so this could simply be helpful for that as well. I like the adjustability of this strap so it works for a variety of people from kids to teens and adults and the compression is adjustable too so you can have it tight or looser. It's a great way to help keep you physically active or if you are just trying to do more. This product is a high quality fabric, very nice and super soft soft but also lightweight so you don't feel like you have added weight on your body. This strap absorbs sweat which prevents any wetness or slipping so you don't have to keep fixing and adjusting which is great because it's a big pet peeve. There is velcro on both sides so you take it apart and make it two separate pieces. Also as far as washing this I'm not sure if you can put it into the washer but hand washing is always an option because if you are active it will be sweaty and smelly.
